• Relation to frequency - T = 1/f

2. Frequency - the number of oscillations or cycles per unit time

• Symbol - f

• Unit - Herts, Hz = cycles per second

• Relation to Period - f = 1/T

3. Amplitude - maximum displacement from equilibrium

• Symbol - A

• Unit - meter
